Bird Trips in Minnesota
Soar
with the Eagles: Saturday, February 24, 2007
Tickets = $85
It's
the perfect Valentine's Day gift: a trip for you and
your loved one (or give it as a gift for your parents) to
Wabasha, Minn., to see both captive and wild Bald Eagles.

We'll
cruise in a comfy motorcoach down to Wabasha, stopping in
Red Wing along the way to view additional eagles.
Last year we saw a Golden Eagle on the way! Once in
Wabasha, we'll visit with eagle experts at the National
Eagle Center. After viewing the educational birds
up close, we'll head outside to hopefully view hundreds
of eagles gathered there to fish on the open waters of the
Mississippi (nearby power plant keeps the water open).
Be sure to bring your cameras, binoculars, etc!
From
there, we'll enjoy a nice lunch then head over to a bird
banding demo in Whitewater State Park. The bird banding
is hands-on - your chance to get up close and personal with
a chickadee, nuthatch, cardinal or woodpecker!
This
is a pretty long day due to the distance we travel.
The coach has comfortable seats and an onboard lavatory.
We'll provide a cooler with drinks, but feel free to bring
your own water, soda, etc. No alcohol please.
Tickets
will be available online or you may purchase them in person
at any of our six family-owned stores.
Questions? Just ask your guide Tami.
NOTE:
This was a wonderful trip in 2006 and we predict a quick
sell-out in 2007.
