We're
All About Birds, for All Seasons
January
2006
Mild
temperatures have kept many of our northern visitors just
outside of the Twin Cities Metro Area. Some Pine Siskins
and Common Redpolls have been spotted, but nothing like
last year's flocks. Cold temps mean better birding!
Keep your fingers crossed and your eyes open as we head
into the coldest time of year here in Minnesota.
If
birding in your yard just isn't cutting it, why not join
us on our Annual
Eagle Tour? We'll be visiting the National
Eagle Center in Wabasha and even watching (and hopefully
participating) in a bird banding demo at Whitewater State
Park!
