One tiny capful of this food-grade enzyme added to your birdbath each week is all you need to keep your bath sparkling clean. While feces and seeds will still collect in your bath, and need to be removed, you'll no longer need to scrub away mold, algae and mineral scale. Simply take a sponge and wipe your bath periodically!
Bird Bath Protector is not a cleaning agent but rather a safe enzyme that will not harm birds or other wildlife when used properly. It's safe for all bath construction: ceramic, rubber, plastic, even marble and metal. For best results, start with a clean birdbath, but if you start mid-season, give the enzyme time to begin breaking down the accumulated matter.
For larger water attractions, such as ponds and fountains, use the equivalent Fountain Protector enzyme.
Four ounce size is good for approximately 20 weekly applications.
