Constructed of heavy polycarbonate plastic, the tray won't yellow or crack even after years of use.  Tray measures 18.5" across and is approximately 4" tall. Note:  Droll Yankees also promotes this as a squirrel guard.  The ends of the tray do curve under making it difficult for squirrels to grasp.  We recommend using a metal baffle as squirrel guards.
