This "torpedo" style baffle works great to prevent squirrels and raccoons from climbing up your feeder's pole. They won't be able to reach your tasty seed with this baffle in place!
Hollow on the underside, the squirrels head up into the baffle and are "baffled" by why they can't reach the seed. Measuring 15.75" tall and 6" wide, this baffle is too long for the majority of raccoons to reach above it and re-grasp the pole.
To use this baffle, you must be able to insert your feeder's pole through one end (shepherd's hooks with a 4-prong support on the ground level won't work. It must go straight into the ground). Simply slide the baffle up your pole, put the coupler in place and you're good to go!
Baffle will work with any pole measuring from .5" to 1.375" in diameter.
