This great ant moat uses no pesticides and works wonderfully to trap ants and other crawling insects before they reach your hummingbird or oriole feeder.
Just fill half way with water, hang from a branch hook, then hang your feeder from the hook on the bottom of the ant moat. When the ants make their downward march, they drown in the ant moat. You can even fill it with a bit of nectar if you'd rather (but this will attract wasps).
The Trap-It Ant Moat comes in red or green, is constructed of plastic, and measures 3"W x 3.75"H.
