In addition to being fascinating animals, bats do a wonderful service to humans by consuming as many as 2,000 insects in one night! Bats eat everything from June bugs, to wasps and mosquitos. Just think what a colony of bats on your property could do!
Woodlink's attractive cedar Bat Cottage is divided into four chambers, allowing plenty of room for 40 bats to comfortably roost. A ventilation slit in the front of the house helps air to circulate and prevents the house from becoming too warm during the summer. The bats enter the house through the open bottom.
House measures 17.5"H x 7"W x 8.75"D and should be hung at least 10' off the ground as bats will first drop from the house then fly upward.
